Was there to buy 3 gallons of paint, only 1 person at the counter so of course there are about 4 customers waiting to be taken care of. As soon as another person does arrive, the person that was there says I'm going to lunch and walks off. There needs to be more than one person serving customers during the day or else it results in a long wait for customers. Fortunately check out was quick. Not happy at all with my 35 minute wait to be served at the paint counter.
Yesterday I had to be the gopher and pick up a board for “the guys”. Charlie in the lumber department was so incredibly helpful. He helped me find a board that was right for my needs and explained a couple things. Then he even took the board up to the checkout AND helped me load it in the truck. THIS great service is why we love Home Depot. Thank you Charlie!!!
Impressed by the service I received tonight without even asking. Frank was a huge help in the lumber Dept. and Nick came to the rescue loading my car. Thanks guys for helping restore my faith in customer service.
Also, do not get Pergo Max flooring if you have an elderly dog. It's marketed for large dogs but ours is slipping and sliding all over it. We had to put area rugs all over to prevent her from breaking a hip.
Worst experience ever! Purchased new flooring for our kitchen and living room last year. All of the materials were not shipped at the same time and we received items we did not even order. The subcontractors arrived late and never completed the job because they did not have all of the materials needed due to the issue with shipping. Pieces arrived almost a month after the job was "finished". Never had the trim or details completed. Had a horrible time trying to return the items that we didn't order. It seemed like the entire customer service department was clueless and did not know how to handle our issue.
