The best brisket around! Servers are always friendly and there are often coupons in the newspaper to save even more. Really, really good food.

My family and I had a great dinner at Smokey bones, Wilkes barre last night. We ordered ribs and steak-absolutely loved it!!! Great atmosphere and friendly stuff. Anna was great and we would request her next time we are in! Highly recommended.
Went there for their much advertised prime rib. Got there and was surprised that they were dead on a Friday night at 7pm. We were seated right away at a rickety table that needed to propped up with coasters from the bar. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer of wings. We also ordered the prime rib right away. Imagine our surprise when we were informed that they were all out of prime rib. I looked around the restaurant and said to the waitress, "It is 7pm on a Friday night, you are less than 1/2 full and you ran out of prime rib already?" She nervously laughed and replied, "Yeah, I know hey". We asked for some time to look over the menu, even though we both knew we should cancel the wings, pay for the drinks and leave. When our waitress came back we told her that we decided to have our drinks and wings and that would be all. I also ordered another bottle of beer. She said okay, and from that point forward we were pretty much dead to her. I needed to catch her attention 3 times to ask for my beer, and when she delivered our wings she simply dropped them onto our table and walked away without a word. We dine out frequently, but we will never be back here.
Had a very good meal of Baby Back Ribs. Delicious and price was good. Server, Denise, did an excellent job in her recommendations. Definitely a 5 star visit..
