My son loves his Toys R us. However, mom not so much :( Everytime you go, no help available to ask questions... You go on a scavenger hunt looking for employees. Then there's the register line. One employee only, no one else :/ why have so many registers ? We were treated extremely disrespectful at returns by a young man. It's not worth the hassle to shop there:( Its a shame for a children's toy store that it's not better organized. Costumer service is extremely important. With technology, costumers can just order online & have it delivered to their door. Personally it's passed time to step up the store, learn better quality costumer service & by all means don't have your costumers waiting so very long to spend their money. Let's hope the management team starts now to prepare for this holiday shopping season. Time well tell :)
Used to be a great store. Good deals. Now you are lucky to find any bargains. The Internet and Internet shopping are doig toys r us in. That and greedy bonuses.
Shopping here and putting my children’s toys on layaway was a great shopping experience. Picking up the layaway was another story. Yes we are all humans and we get tired and sick sometimes. The cashier I had was just miserable and she literally put me in a bad mood. Dragging her feet, putting her head on her cash register and moping around. I literally had to check my own layaway to make sure I had everything. I have 4 children so I had a lot of toys and things to go through. I didn’t even get asked if I wanted help out. 3 trips later with a shopping cart I had it all in my truck. Very unprofessional. Next year I might take my $600 somewhere else.
For as crazy how busy all the stores are toys r us was by far my favorite shopping place today. Very helpful team workers. Was actually a fun trip!
Definitely worth knowing that they price match. Went recently and bought several toys. A few were cheaper on Amazon or Walmart. Showed the prices on my phone at the register, and they took a total of $18 off my cost.
Comparing the price on my phone in the store took all of a couple minutes. That's a pretty good hourly pay rate!
