People: if you are not white do NOT come here you will be treated differently. So, if your Arab,Latino,Asian or black, please consider another college. ( F )

Reason: it's good for surfing the internet but not good for online gaming or streaming.

From staff to professors Wilkes University is extremely incompetent. I can't wait to finally graduate and be done with this school and all the issues associated with it.

Internet is Acceptable ( C+)

Overall I'd say this university is nowhere near worth the $45K/Yr they're charging and honestly you'd probably get a better education at a community college for under $5k.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN! I'm a senior and I've had nothing but problems. Most professors don't know you personally like they claim, most professors don't seem to care much about student success in general. Good luck with the financial aid department. They'll make sure to tell you one thing and do another to make it as hard as possible for you to pay your tuition and have $$ for books/supplies.

Location : ( F ) : THERE IS NOTHING TO DO HERE!!!!! LITERALLY NOTHING!!!

The only reason I did not transfer out of Wilkes is because they opened a new campus in Mesa,AZ. But they closed it down so they could get a new accreditation. Which really sucks because that campus was exponentially better than the main campus in Wilkes Barre,PA which is freezing cold 9 months out of the year. I hope you like snow and ice. That's all you'll see jan-april.

Teachers : there are good and bad teachers, the majority is bad and helpless. Especially the chemistry and Nursing departments. ( C - ).

Food on Campus is good ( B+ )

Horribly disappointed in my university. Recently, a close friend experienced an extremely rough and detrimental mental breakdown that heavily interferred with his ability to attend school and complete work assigned to him. When we finally reached out for help, it was only mere hours afterwards that we received the news he was being forced to leave campus and resign as a student from the university. Despite them not allowing him to walk home alone because they thought he was unsafe to do so, they simultaneously argued that his clear and apparent medical issue provided no ground to explain his absenses and grades. The kid had an hour to pack up his dorm. I will not forget how Wilkes chose, in this situation, to treat one of it's students. As someone with a disability as well, this colored for me a bleak outlook for a successful and safe future while attending this university. I expected better from a school that costs well over 30k a year to go to.

It's so bad it's almost funny.

I can't say enough great things about this school. After 30 years as a nurse, I earned my MSN here. Best college experience ever, everybody was so helpful!!! I received a quality education that enabled me to become a nursing instructor.

I am so happy and my daughter is ecstatic about transferring to Wilkes you can say it cost more money I know that I don't have it either but I'll tell you what she's going to get the education she didn't get from the other college. She learned it from other people and online and private tutors isn't that what we're paying our college for think about it you could have easily sent your child to the crappy College my child is transferring from then add a year to where her education should be now. Thank God she was smart enough to let us know she wasn't learning what she should and she got out before it was too late I only hope your child tells you. I rather pay the extra money you can have all the glitz you want I'll take Wilkes any day of the week. Education First beautiful campus doesn't even rate in my book. Just for the record it is a beautiful campus it's all over but it's beautiful thank you for spending your money on Education First and your staff and professors are amazing they talk to the students not above them.
