Just got a call from them this morning. The lady , and that's how I have to refer to her because she didn't give me her name, was immediately very rude. I was trying my best to be polite but she was so horribly rude and made me feel like I'm below her because I needed assistant. She gave me no actual information just told me my husband made way too much even though right now he is only working 8 hours a week and for 8.50 an hour. The kicker though was she actually called me by my maiden name because I never updated my married name with them. When I asked her how they have my maiden name she angrily replied because you already have benefits honey. To which I responded no I do not. She insisted I have healthcare already through them and that I've had it since 2016. I never applied for healthcare through them always got it from my or my parents work. Never got a card or anything from them but she insisted it had to be me and she wasn't going to debate me on it. Like seriously if that's someone who fraudulently applied and is using a medical card under my name it's not like she cares. In the end she didn't even give me the fax number she said I could have to send over paper work, she never even gave me her name, and over all she made me feel like I'm a piece of garbage and literally brought me to tears with her harsh and demeaning tone. In the end I was told to reapply in a month or two if I couldn't send her a crazy amount of paperwork. I know I need assistance but that doesn't make me any less of a person than this woman but she sure does make you feel like that on the phone.
This agency is useless. Nothing more to be said. I regret moving to PA every day. I wish I could give them zero stars.
