great place good food reasonable prices
Located in the center of Wilkes-Barre's nightlife scene, Vesuvio's is always a great place to go if you enjoy a casual dance scene with a live dj. Although the place is rather small it varies greatly in terms of atmosphere. Upon entry, you are greeted with a typical small pizzeria type of setup, turn to your right; walk into the next room, and you're in a fast paced dance-club/bar. Turn around and walk out onto their patio and your suddenly in a calm sit back, relax, and have a good laugh with your friends vibe. This however is just weekends. During the week the pizza is still there and just as delicious, but the bar becomes a semi-quiet sports bar which is significantly less crowded. Regardless of what day of the week you find yourself at "Vesuv's" you can always count on encountering an eclectic mix of people who know how to have a good time.

Nice people great food, all around good time. Collage crowd brings most of their business, but don't let that deter you.
Pizza is good, the bar gets crowded with it being next to a college. Staff is hit or miss
